Privacy: The Interpreter

18+ only The Interpreter, deck registration, and membership are for adults 18 and older. When you sign up or use a guest reading, you confirm that you are 18 or older, and we record the date and time you confirmed it. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it and delete its readings. If you believe a minor is using the service, contact us at mike@adc-training.com.

What we collect - When you claim your free interpretation: your email address, the time you confirmed you are 18 or older, and a record that your one free interpretation has been used. To keep it to one per person, we also keep a simplified form of your address (for example, without dots or "+" tags in Gmail addresses). - When you register a deck or sign up: your name, your email, your deck code (if you have one), and the time you confirmed you are 18 or older. We don't ask for your address or date of birth. - When you get a reading: the spread you chose, the cards you entered, your question, and the house's reply. We also note the time, and your member ID if you're signed in. - For limits and abuse prevention: a count of your readings each day. For visitors who aren't signed in, we keep a scrambled, one-way code made from your internet address. It changes every day, and we never store the address itself.

Why - To give you your readings and enforce fair limits (one free interpretation per person; daily limits for members). - To send you email you agreed to: your sign-in link, a welcome note, and occasional news about the deck and new spreads. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also change your email preferences from your account page. - To keep the Interpreter safe: we review flagged readings and fix problems. - To improve the house's readings.

How long - Readings are deleted automatically after 90 days. A small number may be kept longer if they're needed to investigate a safety problem or abuse. - Your membership details are kept while you're a member. Ask and we'll delete them.

Who processes it - Ghost (our website and membership platform) holds your member account and email. - Stripe handles payments for paid tiers. We never see your card number. - Cloudflare hosts the Interpreter and its database, and provides the bot check (Turnstile). - Anthropic (our AI provider) receives your question, the cards, and the spread in order to write the reading. Under its API terms, it does not use API data to train its models. - We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Please don't share private details The house is a storyteller. Please don't include full names, addresses, health details, or anything you wouldn't want stored for 90 days.
